Structural engineering design
Our structural design department provides service and support to a wide range of steelwork projects, from large multi-storey buildings and industrial sheds to small access platforms and runway beams.
You can rest assured on our experience; having worked for steelwork fabricators, engineering firms and consulting engineers throughout the petrochemical, steelmaking, heavy engineering and construction industries.
Not only are structural analysis and design projects overseen by our in-house Chartered Structural Engineer, but he is backed up by a team of fully qualified graduate design engineers – there are no weak links in our chain.
We ensure that our team have all the latest hardware and software at their fingertips, so that the most accurate and innovative solutions can be delivered efficiently, such as StaadPro Analysis & Design, and CSC “TEDDS.”
Our draughtspersons provide a full detailing service, in addition to providing GA’s and details to our in-house designs, utilising both 2D and 3D modelling environments (software included: Tekla X-Steel and AutoCAD).
Naturally, we are fully conversant with current CDM legislation and can take a project from the pre-tender stage through to site completion, providing full project management if required.
